Modern kitchen showcases Dekton granite |
This modern home has great bones and interesting lines, but the owners had plans to re-configure the living/dining area, to create a better connection between the spaces. The re-jig also included the kitchen which sat squarely at the heart of the area to be opened up. The owners liked the layout of the existing kitchen, which worked for well for them, but the styling was dated and ready for a refresh.
Designer, Wayne Church, created a contemporary kitchen solution that retained the original layout, but transformed the look and feel of the space through clever use of colour and materials. Out went the old bullnose benchtops, replaced by indestructible but beautiful Dekton |
Opera on the island, and black granite with a leathered finish everywhere else. Matching Dekton upstands tied the look together. A striking colour palette of Resene double black-white, with accent panels in Resene double Foundry, delivered an integrated look with strong lines and shapes to complement the vaulted ceiling above.
The main kitchen area is supplemented by a galley style scullery to produce a working space that suits the clients perfectly. DESIGN: Wayne Church, Neo Design MANUFACTURE + INSTALLATION: Neo Design |
