Westmere kitchen is 1970 re-imagined

 

Auckland Architect Andrew Meiring's design for the renovation of his own home is an exercise in precision. Floor to ceiling cabinetry in the kitchen features a 10mm negative detail top and bottom that creates a totally seamless impression. Granite and stainless steel bench tops, timber panelling, and lacquered cabinets create a harmonious palette with all forms linked together by their floor-to-ceiling profile. Restful, cool, and stylish, this kitchen is a triumph that showcases a beautifully resolved design, with a modern nod to the 1970s.
