This substantial new build on the Takapuna waterfront is an homage to modern design. In keeping, the kitchen employs modern materials and clean lines - stainless steel, granite and dark panelling. But on closer inspection, the cupboard fronts and panels are a traditional shaker style, the overheads even having glass inserts. All the shaker panels have solid oak rail and stile construction - perfect for the team at Neo Design with their history in solid timber furniture. This kitchen demonstrates the potential in mixing design styles - in the right hands it can produce great results.
